This month, I received my contributor copies of Tales of the United States Space Force (published from Baen Books), and my story “The Eyes of Damocles” was selected as the opening act. I’m proud to have this published alongside works by David Brin, Arthur C. Clarke, Harry Turtledove, Martin L. Shoemaker, Jody Lynn Nye, Larry Niven, and many others including C Stuart Hardwick (who is also the editor of this very cool collection of stories and articles on military defense in the high frontier).
Set about 30 years from now, “The Eyes of Damocles” is a speculative tale on a near-future espionage tactic that will happen someday, especially as we show no signs of moderating our social media addiction.
